LONDON (AP) — Birkenstock Holding PLC (BIRK) on Thursday reported fiscal second-quarter profit of $110.6 million. On a per-share basis, the London-based company said it had profit of 59 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 58 cents per share.
HANGZHOU, China (AP) — NetEase Inc. NTES) on Thursday reported net income of $1.42 billion in its first quarter. The Hangzhou, China-based company said it had net income of $2.21 per share.
RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) — Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras SA (EBR) on Thursday reported a loss of $60.2 million in its first quarter. On a per-share basis, the Rio De Janeiro-based company said it had a loss of 3 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 1 cent per share.
NINGBO, China (AP) — Zeekr Intelligent Technology Holding Ltd. (ZK) on Thursday reported a loss of $99 million in its first quarter. On a per-share basis, the Ningbo, China-based company said it had a loss of 39 cents. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense, came to 32 cents per share.
President Trump claimed India's government had offered to remove import duties on U.S. goods. India is "one of the highest-tariff nations in the world," Trump said, speaking in Qatar. "It's very hard to sell into India, and they've offered us a deal where basically they're willing to literally charge us no tariffs."
